Every story needed a beginning and an end although how it reached that point was all part of the experience. Kira had often look over the past events in her life with a mixed reaction to all that has happened to her. Although ultimately her previous story had ended as she felt born again, the old her dead and gone which only left what she was now, to begin a new. She had naturally felt it most fitting for her new chapter in life to begin where she had done so before, right at home. She had visited her old village and met with her parents once again to see all was well. Spending a few days within the village as per request from her folks who merely wanted to spend time with their baby girl.
Walking once more out of that village was possibly the hardest thing she could ever remember doing, even more so now as she was grown up then when she had a few years back. At that time she at the very least had her best friend Asura at her side, but alas for this journey she was destined to make it alone it seemed. She leaving home the same way she had came, with nothing on her aside the compass she had been given by Reks. The young woman had traveled a little ways from the village until she had come up on the coast. Her village being built near one side of the island near the ocean rather then farther in. She walking until she had come to a beach on the coastline, it being a spot she remembered all too well. She and Asura had spent all too many hours playing amongst the sand.
Nostalgia was certainly a word worth using here as she looked amongst the empty plain that was the beach, not a soul in sight but yet the sounds of the waves could be heard clear as day, they washing up upon shore, seagulls crying out happily as the sun bore down upon her. Walking out onto the beach, she feeling the ground give way underneath her boots slightly, as she continued to walk out. Once she had reached a distance she was satisfied with she was quick to sit down, once again feeling the sand give in to her weight as she turned her attention back to sea. Immediately allowing herself to sigh as she immediately felt a huge amount of pressure weighing down on her. How was she supposed to get out to sea now?

Tsukai was bandaged up like a damn mummy, sitting on the head of the damaged ship in all its glory the massive ship was known as the Angels Wing. The Angels Wing is a Massive War-Boat Originally crafted for the Head Admiral with the best known Technology, hidden form commoner Eyes. However When Tsukai stole it, and saved forty slaves from their enslavement as crew members the Ship Became a Pirates Vessel, renamed Angels Wing. The massive Steam and Man-Powered ship is a Ten Story High Warship, Forty Five meters wide, and one hundred meters long. The ship has a bedroom for up to Fifty People Comfortably, as well as Five Kitchens, a massive Engine room for the Steam powered Engine. Two Smaller Rooms Containing the Fuel Tanks on ether side. Beside this there are ten Storage Rooms for Food and Water, as well as Alcohol and Ammunition for Guns, Canons, and extra Fuel for the Flame Throwers. Besides that there are about thirty other Extra Odds and Ends rooms through out the entire Ship. This is the Angels Wing, The Strongest Ship Known to the world Currently in the Hands of the Pirate, Tsukai Xoi and his Crew. Of course, right now the information hadn't hit the islands about what the crew had just managed as he directed the ship ... which as they turned had a massive hole in it's eight floor about the size of a room, and indeed a room torn asunder was visible inside it. All over it was a massive jolly roger flag ... Pirates.
As the ship headed strait for the girl, eh noticed her thanks to his haki, and nudged the ship a bit with his arm that was in a sling, and slowly the huge ship pulled into the sands, five huge anchors dropping down before Tsukai grabbed a cane with a Grunt. Glancing down and blinking, Sadly, no island was without its bandits and hoodlums ... and slowly five of the men known around the island as the ''wranglers'' for their habit of stealing and torturing people, came forward. Their leader, a 50.000.000 Beli Bounty nudged her with his boot and grinned, "Look at what I found boys!" He grinned looking up at the huge ship greedily and then the girl. "We got ourselves a new playtoy, and a new ship all in on- GWUFRPMHP?!?!" Suddenly the mans head was about a foot deep in the sands, Tsukai bandaged an limping standing on his head leaning heavily on his cane, having flopped down from ten stories. "Tch ... Ira and Neph are still sleeping ... Better go and get the supplies now." he glanced down and blinked.
Staring at the unconscious body beneath him, he looked at the other bandits with a confused expression and then the young girl. Slowly what was going on dawned on him ... he limped up to one of the large, seven footers, looking up at him a moment curiously before he lifted the cane ... and poked him in the chest with it. "Buss off and leave the lady alone before I use this." He said, now ... under normal circumstances this could be intimidating ... maybe. But Tsukai looked like a broken up mummy old man with a stick at the moment, so the bandits grinned slowly, thinking maybe the guy was just an idiot and had fallen on theri leader ... luck, that had to be it, no human could just land after a fall like that. So of course his stupid brain made him grab the cane ... Tsukai blinked slowly ... and cracked the man over the head hard enough to knock him clean out ... and snap the cane ... the giant dropped with a thud. Tsukai blinked. "Can you go now please ...? I have injured to care for and a ship to mend. Your in ..." his eye that was visible suddenly turned cold and hard. "The way. Leave the girl alone and skitter cockroaches." They froze up a bit ... slowly they grabbed their two unconscious leaders, and shot off like bullets.
Tsukai simply grunted and continued on his way ... giving her a happy wave as he moved a few feet and then looked up as a badnaged head popped off the roof. "Ready Cap'n?!" He nodded, "Aye! Toss it down!" There was a massive THWAMP! As a huge chain conencted tot eh front of the boat dropped, Tsukai catching it in his good hand he slowly turned and began to limp forward ... dragging the massive ... ship ... slwoly out of the water and onto the sands about halfway for repairs.

Ira ran her fingers through her hair as she sat up in her bed, looking slowly around the room, she stretched broadly, yawned, and... Promptly flopped back into a laying position, cuddling into her pillow and exhaling lazily, willing the sun to stop shining in through her window. She pulled the fluffy pillow over her head, flailed around a little, tearing her blankets off of her bed in the process, before eventually giving in and finally dragging herself out of bed - something that sounded like an extremely tiring task considering the deep, depressed sigh that left her lungs. She was merely wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts to bed, for the sake of comfort, beyond that she wasn't entirely the most feminine of women, anyways.
She mumbled a few incoherent words to herself, stumbling into her bathroom and furthermore into the shower. As per usual, she took a nice, long shower, standing under the hot water with a zombie like expression - her eyes distant and lifeless, her mouth barely moving, with deep groans rolling out of her throat. She swayed a little where she stood, blinking indifferently against the water that was rolling down her face. She remained in this state for perhaps fifteen minutes before waking up enough to actually wash her hair and such.
When she finally crawled out of the shower, dried herself off in a towel and put on some fresh clothing, she yawned one more. She wasn't sleepy so much as she just felt a little physically fatigued. Being a pirate sure was hard work - even to a blacksmith whom had spent all of her days pounding on hot metal with a heavy hammer.
This drew back the thoughts of the gaping hole in the ship, caused by the fishmen, and she hung her head a bit, meandering towards the nearest kitchen, she grabbed herself a green apple and a paring knife, only to discover that there was no peanut butter anywhere to be found, meaning that she could not have her favorite snack!
Damn fishmen, she mentally growled, taking a second apple and tucking it into her pocket, she began carving angrily into the first, skewering a piece on it and hungrily biting it off of the tip of the knife, grumbling a little to herself as she made her way to the deck - suddenly realizing that the ship wasn't moving anymore. She trudged over to the railing, noting that they were beached, she arched a brow, having an easy enough time spotting Tsukai, as well as some bandit looking men taking off in the other direction. There was a girl as well, which she assumed Tsukai had saved - as that seemed to be a trend with him.
For a moment, she sat herself against the railing, long enough to cut away another piece of the apple, which she munched on as she kicked down a rope ladder. She stuck the knife into the apple, then sunk her teeth into the apple, holding it firmly as she easily crawled down the ladder and towards the beach - not the safest of things to do, perhaps, but hey, she could regenerate, so she didn't think it a big deal.
Once on the ground, she began to move around, surveying the damage that had been done, before casting a glancing to Tsukai as she cut out a piece of apple with her bite marks in it. She twirled it around a little on the tip of the knife, her foot taping gently on the sand, "they sure did a number on the ship..." Which I'll have to fix... She glared a little at the massive hole, as though expecting it to mend itself, or perhaps ice over from the coldness of her expression, but of course, nothing happened.
She focused on the dark haired girl for a moment, as though wondering what she were up to, but was quick to discard the thought, as it wasn't any of her business, and on top of that she couldn't be bothered to care what she was doing. She was likely just admiring the large, steam powered ship, a rarity among ships. Ira had done the same thing, of course, so she could hardly blame the other female for doing it as well. She yawned a final time, before looking as though she had completely perked up, and stood to her full height rather than slouching and ambling around.
With this, she wandered after Tsukai, eating that piece of her apple before cutting yet another and impaling it on her knife. She pointed the apple, stuck to the tip of her knife, at Tsukai, somewhat sternly as she announced, "if you're going for supplies, we need peanut butter... I haven't been able to find any since the stupid fishmen attacked... Remedy this..." She said, with her usual expression of neutral, coldness.

Although Kira may be entitled to her moments of tenderness, as is anyone, this is of course not to suggest that Kira is weak at all. While she may have said feelings with regard to her friend Asura and the times they had spent together it didn't take away from the fact that she was the type of person who would make one swallow their own teeth, a trait that Reks had taught her really. This young woman's past has done alot to make her grow and in one of those ways was her maturity. While she still may be a bit ill tempered she wasn't as she was in her teens to where she would fly off the wall for a cause she really had no true knowledge about. Now she was at least calm and collected in this regard although it still wasn't too hard to bring back old tendencies.
These men on the beach had been tempting such fate as they nudged her with a boot, grinning at her suggestively as they had pointed not only her, but the large ship which had directed itself practically right at them on the coast. This behemoth of a ship looking quite like it has been around before as it was ravaged beyond recognition. Was it in some sort of war prior? Nevertheless at the moment it was not of any concern to her as she merely craned her neck back to stare upward and this fool which had felt that she was some sort of "toy" for them to use as they wanted. Having been away for as long as she had, Kira had no way of knowing just who this group was, nor did her parents tell her, to spare her their problems, coincidentally as Kira had done for them.
She flashed them a look of mild shock missed with a heavy does of annoyance due to their claim of her, far be it for her to care what they wanted with this mess of a ship, but they could leave her the hell out of that equation. Although looking at these men, it was clear to her the chances of them taking no for an answer was simply not going to happen. Letting out a sigh to herself as she lowered her head once more, lowering her hands onto the soft sand, she began to push herself to her feet, making sure to grab a bit of sand in her right hand as she did so, pulling it up with her, hopefully undetected by her attackers, she going to use it to quickly blind one of them to even the playing field. Perhaps the big one which looked to at least be one of the leaders int he pack? Still her back was to them, as she she turned around she was treated to a view of which could not be explained. Immediately she saw the man which had prodded her with his foot before, now eating sand if you will.
A man had practically fallen from the sky and was the cause of this, although shocked she still did her best to regain her composure, though it was impossible to hide as she stared a tad wide eyed at this guy. Turning her attention upward once more, this time to the ship which they were interested in, she soon began to make a connection This guy was bandaged like crazy, a feeling she knew all too well herself but that was beside the point here. This man looked to be in the shape of this ship, and a complete fool at that as he threatened the men who she was about to fight with. The following scene regarding him somehow managing to scare these men away, and even shock her, well speaks for itself. With a single punch he had not only brought a huge monster of a man down as his companion was, but managed to knock him clean out at the same time. Kira could feel her right hand loosening slightly allowing the sand to slip between her fingers as she stared on.
Now if that wasn't enough he would continue this trend by literally pulling his ship onto the shore, one man by hand pulling this ungodly sized ship onto land, even as he was bandaged as if he was injured. Now Kira was strong and she knew she was, but she knew she could NEVER do this at her current strength and as that be the case, this sort of left her slack jawed as she had almost not even noticed the polite wave he had given her before this task. At this point though she could hear a slight noise behind her, breaking her from her stunned stupor and causing her to look back at a ladder unravel down the side of the ship and another individual crawl down the ladder with something in her mouth. It wasn't until her feet hit land that she realized that this was another woman, and that what she had in her mouth was an apple to which she was cutting away at, and eating.
The strange woman had begun to run toward this man with a strange request of Peanut Butter on the list of "supplies" they had. Wait hadn't this man been referred to as "Cap'n" by another still on the ship? Looking back tot he ship yet again and then at them, it suddenly dawned on her, Pirates. Pirates here for supplies, here on Dawn Island and heading for her village she presumed. While she still may not judge these kinds of people as harshly as she once had, she still honored the fact that people like she was raised to believe exist and she would NOT allow them to harm her village while she was around. Although this man had "saved" her, which was something to consider. Kira quickly ran after these two, she not wanting to cause any unnecessary trouble, but yet she just wanted to keep an eye on them if they were going to be anywhere near her village. "Hey hold up." She called after them as she was soon upon them, standing directly behind them. Kira merely stood there now, completely unsure of what to say next. Did she really just ant to bluntly ask if they were pirates or not? Well just aswell, her current silence was just enough time to allow them to respond to her presence yet again.

Tsukai continued limping when he heard Ira hop down and he blinked. "Ah, Ira-chan waht'r yo need'n- ... Peanut ... Butter?" He ogled her and then burst out laughing holding his side with his hand in the sling as he was almost rolling from his fit, just the way she had said wit with her normal blank and calm expression was the funniest thing he had ever seen. "A-alright ..." He tickled still wiping a tear from his eye, "Peanut Butter, added tot he list." He laughed again softly before he dropped the large chain with a thunk and eyed the ladder, "Oi! Pull that thing up! We don't need any nosey others tryin' to get on m baby." There was a call of "Aye Cap'n!" from the ship and the ladder began to slide upward slowly. Tsukai grunted and grinned at Ira, "Shall we ...? We need Titanium, Steel, Bolts, Cannonballs, Water, and whatever food we can find." He nodded a bit as they walked, then added, "And Peanut butter." he chuckled softly, however as they made their way along he blinked and glanced back as the words rang out! He stopped and waited as he was requested and gave her a polite grin and nodded to her, "Yes Miss ...?" He asked curiously as he scratched a cut on his chin.
She seemed however to have frozen up ... he blinked slowly and tilted his head a bit, she was young, a cutie too, with a sad distant look in her eyes. But she seemed extremely unsure how to deal with the current situation, so Tsukai decided to be of a bit of help. He smiled a bit before he simply motioned for her to tag along, noting how her body language was giving off most of what she felt. "Im Tsukai Xoi ... this is Ira Travis ... we just came from Fishman Reef, you all probably felt some of the tidal waves here ... I apologize for that, I went overboard when I took out black fins commander and squads ... though we missed the damn Fishman himself." He grunted a bit before he realized she likely only knew who blackfin was and that the island had been hit by large tidal waves a few days ago, he scratched his head, and decided to change the subject. "We came to get supplies to Reply the Angels Wing, and get more provisions and such as well as hopefully find a Navigator for the crew. You know it took us four days to find this damn Island and it was only fifty miles away from where we had our battle?" He whined a bit like a annoyed child and sighed.
As he talked and walked, they slowly made their way up to the top of the hill that overlooked the village and he gave a grin. "Cute little place." He complemented before he glanced at Ira, "Sweetie ... be a dear and fly over the town, look for any bandits, pirates, bounty hunters and the like so we know what to expect for me? I could beat them but my attacks even if I held back would damage the island ... I'd rather let these people live on peacefully unless those bandits cause them real troubles." He chuckled and then slowly sat down on the edge of the cliff, knowing she would grudgingly or willingly follow is order as he draped his legs over the side of the cliff he looked at Kira curiously. "Sorry if we startled you miss, don't worry I don't let my crew harm anyone unless they do harm to us first." H gave a big grin and using his good arm took out a whiskey bottle, taking a swig out of it and eying the village. "Titanium will be expensive here ... may have to dip into my stores or sell the Ura Ura." He leaned back slowly and crossed his arms as he considered this.
As he leaned back he would slowly unwrap the bandages on his face, head, neck, and body ... leaving the ones around his eight pack, his heart, and his arm that was in the sling. His skin was covered in bruising, but ti was healing at an inedible rate, as well the bandages around his other body parts apparently had already begun rapidly healing as well, the mans endurance and healing factor really was a bit terrifying. (Zoro!! xD) Before he slowly sat Indian style sipping from his whiskey, then it accured to him and he looked at Kira curiously. "What were you sitting on the shore all depressed about by the way ...? You were giving off a crazy alteration of negative feelings that there's no way my Haki could miss." He blinked a bit and took another swig of his whiskey, tugging a bandage aside he poured some on his wounds, and then tucked it away as the bubbling of acid on blood was heard, the bandages tinged with red and brown now but he didn't wince. e simply watched the girl out of curiosity as he sat below her.

Ira nodded her head softly at Tsukai's assurance that they would get what she desired, though he was laughing at her and that was a little off putting, she supposed the serious expression she had while asking for peanut butter of all things was a little amusing. With this, she finished off her first apple, giving the core a toss over her shoulder, as it would just decompose, she was about to pull out the second apple when someone called to them. She turned slowly, a brow arched slightly at the girl, whom had fallen silent as she had approached the two of them.
She watched the dark haired girl for a few long moments, before shrugging and noticing Tsukai picking at a cut on his chin. She rose her free hand, punching him in the upper arm. It was a gentle punch, and she made certain to target an area that was not damaged, but her warning was clear as she spoke, "I told you to stop picking at your wounds, you're just going to irritate them," she warned, just sort of staring at him as he decided to introduce themselves to the girl. And then, promptly spilled the details on everything that they had been doing over the last few days. The blond shook her head heavily, rubbing at a temple slightly with her free hand, she made a mental note that if they ever had to deceive anyone, that she would have to do the talk before Tsukai could spill his guts.
As they approached the town she went to reach for her apple once more, when Tsukai asked her to take a look around. She arched a brow at his request, tucking her small knife carefully into the pocket of her jacket, as she shrugged her shoulders indifferently, her two arms rapidly turning to wings of flames, she kicked off of the ground, flapping them and rising above the village rather easily, clearly a little more comfortable flying with them, as the blue flames licked along her arms. She circled over the little town several times, naturally drawing quite a bit of attention, for looming over the village like that, but she didn't seem to be bothered by the pointing and mumbling amongst the townspeople.
Rather, she landed on top of a building, crouching on the edge of one of the highest roofs and peering down at the ground people, her icy eyes scanning the area for any sort of abnormal behavior or shady person. She seemed to have created a bit of a panic, as many people were rushing to get inside their homes and shops and such - away from her, of course. She huffed a bit, though continued to look around. Normal people, quite obviously were not what the captain were interested in, so she paid them little heed as she lowered herself to the ground, using her fiery wings to cushion the fall.
Once upon the ground, the wings faded back to her arms, and she pulled out her second and final apple, plucking the knife out again and beginning to eat it as she wandered through the street, eying a few people up ahead, whom looked a little out of place to her, but what did she know, really? It could very well have been townspeople. She pondered things a little to herself, munching away on her apple as her stomach growled slightly, the smell of fresh baked goods drifting from a nearby bakery, she became somewhat distracted by the tantalizing smell, though she forced herself to shake her head and focus on the task at hand - which may or may not have been a task at all.

Kira had caught up to them and although she may not have had any idea on how to follow up, fortunately this man, Cap'n as he was called by the men yet again was able to read her body language and press the conversation further. He also had the fortunate flaw, at least for her at this time, to be a little loose on the lips and was quick to explain far more then she needed to know. This being something which caused the blonde woman who was enjoying an apple to shake her head whilst rubbing her temples, possibly out of mild frustration for this man, although she wouldn't say it aloud. Although this guy did mention something of interest to Kira, that being that he, on top of being here for supplies needed a navigator.
If there was at all a point in life when someone could say the stars aligned in their favor, Kira certainly had the luxury of saying it in this particular situation. What could be more perfect for her at the moment? She had no way of truly going out to sea to fulfill her promise to Reks. The very same man however who had passed on his knowledge of being a navigator to Kira, giving her the ability to not only read maps, but to draw them aswell, this making her the asset these people needed and their best option on Dawn Island at that. Although these people did seem a bit off as the man who didn't seem to have the capability of keeping much from people had asked his companion to fly over her village to scout the area for more of those bandits she had just seen on the beach. Naturally she merely scoffed at the idea mentally, but soon found herself in awe as the blond woman practically sprouted wings of blue flame and took off.
Her shock had only lasted but a second, after all the legend of the devil fruits were not at all a mystery to Kira as she has consumed one as well, although that was of no importance to these people right now. Kira kept a steady and watchful eye on the woman introduced as Ira as she flew up, she still unsure whether or not she could at all trust these people yet. Still this man was quick to take a seat whilst Ira took off, leaving just the two of them. Almost as if reassuringly he apologized to her for any possible startles she may have received during their short time seeing one another, the man known as Tsukai certainly causing her a few awe inspiring moments. Still the way he spoke with this confidence, it did seem as if he wasn't one to lie which was something that Kira did like about him, although she had to admit, upon first impressions, Ira was a bit, shadey. This could easily be a direct result of just how she acted in the short time she had seen her, and overall wasn't a fair judge of character as of the moment.
"Not at all." Kira reassured him, although she had been slightly unnerved by his ability, she wouldn't say he startled her outright, aside maybe him pulling that ship onto shore in his current condition. Regardless he did shown signs of injury as he had pulled out a bottle of whiskey and immediately started downing it as he spoke of a few things which didn't interest her so much at this point, although he would soon turn his attention back to her inquiring as to what she was doing on the beach in that mental state. Which first of all was a bit unnerving for her due to him knowing of it, reading her feelings practically which seemed impossible to her from such a distance or without having seen her at all as far as her knowledge served her. Still she had a simple response to this as she regained composure from this, she having cocked an eyebrow in response to him. "Have you ever died?" It was certainly an odd sentence and an even odder question in response to one asked prior.
As she stood there looking down upon him who had poured some of the alcohol onto his wounds, one method of cleaning them for sure. She took a stance which showed that she meant business in this question rather then throwing something out there not meant to be taken seriously. She in her own mind believed there were many levels to true death, whether it be Physical or Mental or even philosophical. She didn't expect an answer and merely scoffed allowed with a half hearted smile to herself, turning her attention away from Tsukai. As she did so, the aggravation was evident on her face, those eyes of hers filled with both anger and pain, she certainly looking to be a woman of a rocky past. She soon rested her Crimson and Golden Amber eyes back upon Tsukai however as she contemplated just what to really tell this man. It was at this point that she decided to possibly stall and change the direction of the conversation.
"I'm Kira by the way." She introduced herself with a simple extension of her hand, down toward him to engage in a simple hand shake to greet upon. She using the fact that she hadn't done so to drive the attention away from the subject of what she was going. She really didn't want to just pour out her feelings regarding her history on this beach, she very well didn't want to just tell some stranger that she had been stabbed int he back by her best friend and left to die, although what she did want to say was simple. "I also may be the answer to your problems." Still with her hand extended, she with these next few words being quite direct in a way as she applied a bit of mystery to what she had meant. Over the course of the conversation, whilst she would not talk about what had happened to her in the past, she slowly had a feeling of becoming more at ease by the simple way he had conducted not only himself but addressed Ira aswell. As said, she did need a way to go out to sea and these guys needed someone of her talents, although she would still need to be sure about them before even thinking of a possibility of heading out into the great unknown with them.

He blinked at the girls question in surprise, had he ever died. What an odd question. “Yes.” He said simply blinking and tilting his head a bit with a stretch and a yawn, closing and eye and leaning back on his arms be decided he should probably explain that. His eyes watched Ira as she became distracted and he face palmed, slowly standing he shot a slim firework above the town, letting Ira know to wait for him, having taught her the basics of their crews signals earlier that day, he took her hand as she gave it to him and arched a brow at her next statement and grinned. “Well one thing at a time.” He nodded a bit, “But a pleasure to meet you miss Kira.” He said with a soft laugh before he began walking along down the roads heading toward the village, he could get there in seconds but he didn’t want to strain his already injured if healing, body. He was debating where to start on his explanation as they walked along, before he chuckled and shrugged, “Screw it … I’ll start from the beginning.” He nodded taking a breath before he began with a grin.
First came the past, “When I was a slave, I died emotionally … multiple times. Broken, beatings … as a kid eventually you become mindless zombie. I died then, and was only saved by a dear friend of mine from my childhood, another slave for the Celetial dragons like I was.” He nodded a bit before he slid a cigarette between his lips, lightning it and frowning as he remembered. “I was broken and mindless till He met me, he got my personality back, and taught me deviance and willpower.” He smiled a bit and chuckled sadly, “That was my first death. The next came when we escaped and killed the guards that had beaten and whipped us for most our lives … they shot him through the heart. I didn’t break and fall like before, I had the strength to get all the survivors and steal my ship from the Dragons. But … afterward for several weeks I was broken inside, I kept a strong face but my heart was sliced in two from failing him.” He sighed and shook his head with a grunt, blowing out a trail of smoke as they neared the bottom of the ridge he hopped down and offered her a hand politely to help her down as well, whether she took it or not he would be unphased and continue.
He sighed and nodded, continuing his story, “Well, after that I died physically … Saving Ira and a friend and new competition of mine, Nephy, I took a (Arrow to the Knee!) pipe through my secondary heart … and a big chunk of metal through my guts … I got lucky that It only took out my secondary stomach and not my other main organs or I’d be in trouble. He grinned a bit with a sigh before stretching and eyeing the nearby areas frowning softly, “That’s what I’m recovering from now … hopefully I’ll be good as new, we have three other blues to explore and then the grand line after all.” He chuckled before placing a hand on the nearby tree, yanking off a limb he supported himself on it using it as a cane as he walked along. “Neh neh … fate really doesn’t like me.” He barked a laugh of amusement as they entered the town and he eyes Ira with a sigh. “Go ahead, go get your peanut butter and food … I can tell your dying too.” He chuckled a bit nodding to her to go and get what she needed, “Don’t try and scare anyone else though.” He smirked a bit.
Once this was done he stretched before meandering off heading toward the main road, and center expecting Kira would follow he kept Ira in his gaze easily. Frowning a bit before he looked around and eyed Kira, “Any Idea where we can get metals and supplies?” He asked curiously before he stretched and gave a yawn eyeing the surrounding area. “By the way how can you solve all our problems?” He asked curiously tilting his head in bemusement.

Ira licked her lips a little as she walked, eying the people of interest ahead of her, she immediately noticed that they seemed to be gossiping about something, and the teen snorted a bit through her nose, alerting them of her presence and causing them all to scatter and scurry. She rolled her eyes a bit and halted as she spotted the firework, which she stared blankly at. Her eyes slowly followed the path that the firework had traveled, and she spotted Tsukai, hobbling along with his cane, the dark haired girl following him.
"You've a habit of picking up strays," she murmured to herself, while finishing off her apple. She, of course, was a stray herself, so it was merely an idle observation, rather than a snide comment under her breath. She gave the apple core a toss into a nearby trashcan as she finished with it, and poked the knife to rest in the belt at her hips, hidden in the small of her back due to her long jacket.
She sighed a little to herself, standing in the middle of the street and waiting for Tsukai and the girl to catch up to her, a look of disinterest in her eyes as her stomach grumbled slightly. Apples weren't terribly filling, after all. One hand raised slightly, petting gently at her stomach. Rising her head to glance back at Tsukai, she noticed he was yammering on still, and blew a stray piece of hair from her face, waiting (im)patiently for her captain to arrive.
And when he did arrive, he merely told her to go on her way!
She stared blankly at Tsukai, her eyes slowly narrowing as she watched him through the barely open slits, "did you... Just make me wait for you to get here, so you could tell me to go on ahead?" She asked, and though her tone had that usual neutral-ness to it, there was a hint of annoyance and a little distaste. Eventually, she gave her head a shake and simply turned around, stalking away from her Captain as she rose a hand to rub at the side of her neck. With this she made her way forwards on her own, without really taking any notice to her Captain or the girl that was with him. Additionally, she hardly seemed to take notice of the people that were beginning to return to the streets - though they very much noticed her!
Ira followed her nose and the scent of freshly made baked goods, not really even noticing which direction she was heading or how far from the others she had wandered - not that it really mattered, since she was more than capable of taking care of herself, even if others kept insisting on saving her.
Before long, she found herself before this bakery, and entered with a degree of curiosity. She had never before been to such a place, but it was so pleasing to all of her senses that she had to swallow hard to keep from drooling on herself. The teen wandered along a display case, observing the vast arrangement of items, all which looked tasty and were incredibly appealing to the eyes. There we cakes and pastries and breads, everything that she could have ever wanted, really. She hadn't gotten to each such things when she was growing up, or even a week ago, but now she had some freedoms and a little coin to spend. Calling her a kid in a candy store would have been an incredibly accurate description - though she was trying very hard to contain her feelings, a faint blush came to her cheeks, that looked incredibly out of place, considering the current situation.
The shopkeeper seemed to notice her, and that she was not from the area, and watched her warily for a moment before deciding that someone so clearly intrigued by baked goods was likely not a person meaning to cause trouble. He walked behind the counter, gesturing to the display, "is there anything you'd like, little miss?" He asked, smiling kindly.
Ira blushed a little deeper, for the simple fact that this was her first time buying anything for herself, with her own money. To be honest, she didn't have much of a concept when it came to Beli, because she couldn't place a value to anything (aside maybe armor), but she drew out a small pouch of Beli, one of several attached to her belt. She was quiet a moment as she offered it to the man, "what... Can I get with this much?" She asked, watching and waiting patiently as he poked through the Beli and revealed to her that she had enough to get multiple things. Her eyes glimmered just a little with excitement, and she detached a second pouch, tossing it onto the counter. "I'd like as many different things as I can get with that," she announced, suppressing her feeling once more, she cleared her throat and ran her fingers through her hair, watching as the man took out a medium sized white box and began to set baked goods inside of it.
She was effectively distracted by this for several minutes, before she was handed the white box, and so departed. When she made it outside, she paused a moment, looking around, at the streets that were once more filled with people. ... Was there a reason I came out here? She mused for a moment, before shrugging it off, and wandering off - in the wrong direction, no less, as she was too busy munching her goodies to take noticed that she was actually leaving the town.

(It's fine to let her wander off a little and get lost~ She'll just sit down, sulk, and stuff her face. xD)

As the two began on their way toward the village after Kira had initially failed to hide her odd question. Although it served her purpose all the same as it got the heat off of her regarding her history as this man as he had before, prepared himself to speak without restraint.Although Kira had found his response to be a bit odd, that might be what you should expect however when you ask odd questions, but even then she didn't expect his answer. As they made their way down the road at a leisurely pace and his promise to start from the beginning made, she merely walked casually with her arms up, hands laced behind her head whilst her elbows pointed out to each side of her, a look upon her face of mild intrigue as she walked with a slower pace to accommodate this man in his injury and not wanting to strain himself. She did raise an eyebrow to the beginning of his tale, the mention of him being a slave. That alone was heartbreaking, bit the mention of a friend which had died, being shot through the heart was certainly one way of being killed.
Still, this part of the story had plucked away at Kira who began to feel a bit of emotion building inside of her. Still she masked it as she continued to walk along with him, brushing away his hand to help her down. It wasn't meant to be at all rude, but she knew she didn't need a babysitter of sorts to help her off some ledge. Still she was doing her best to retain a hardened face whilst she bubbled inside as his story had reminded her of the childhood friend she still cared for. Uncertainty and sorrow the base for all of Kira's pain and it only fueled her further, to continue on in life, to find Asura and find out exactly why she had done what she did. Still she remained silent as the two of them eventually came to the village once more, the people staring her way from the streets, windows alleyways between buildings, everywhere. Partially due the fact that she was at one point a resident, and that she was seen shoulder to shoulder with an outsider, and walking toward the girl which had given them a fright as she had flown above the village.
As she and Tsukai had approached Ira, Kira remained silent as she merely looked upon the other woman, showing a bit of disbelief and annoyance toward Tsukai's off beat way of, well doing things. Rather then just allowing her the freedom outright, he felt he needed to announce it. It being none of her business, Kira just merely watched as Ira had been instructed to also get food and was quick to move on to the bakery in town, a place she remembered quite well. That bakery had been around long before Kira was even born and she had tasted quite the plethora of sweets from it, the baker even from time to time sneaking her something for free with a small "shhh" motion with his hand, the finger vertically across the lips, a well known sign of secrecy, after all if word got out how many others would come running for this privilege. It actually brought a warm smile to Kira's face as she remember those days, simpler times, happier minutes spent running with her friend, sharing the sweets she had been given.
Her thought wandering had been interested as she was brought back to reality with a simple question from Tsukai. Where could they get metals? Looking around would be a direct answer to that question. "I'm not sure we'll have what your looking for, as you can see I grew up in a pretty rural village. It may look nice but we don't have much." Kira replied plainly, because, well it was the truth. Sure they had a bakery with a display, the buildings were nicely constructed, the streets clean and the people respective. When you take a closer look however, this was just a mere facade to hide their village's inadequacies. They wouldn't have something as refined as he had mentioned before, certainly not enough to fix that monster of a ship of theirs. Lowering her arms from their perch behind her head, Kira looked to Tsukai with a sly grin as he had quickly followed up in regard to what she had said about "being an answer to their problems."
Being somewhat of a palette cleanser in regard to the bad news she had just given him. Kira dug a hand deep into the pocket of her coat to retrieve the compass she had been given by Reks. It quite old but it worked wonders still even to this day. With a quick flick of her wrist she gave it a gentle toss to Tsukai, for him to catch. Still retaining that grin of sorts she looked upon this man with a knowing gaze. "I'm sure you can figure out how." Her voice laced with a heavy dose of confidence. She knew she was what they were looking for, she was confident in her navigation skills, and she was confident she would have a bit of bargaining power in this equation. It was not at all her intentions to take more then what was necessary, in fact she wanted nothing from them but for them to show her they deserved her trust. What she was looking for however, benefited the people of her village, most of all including her parents.
