What was he thinking? It wasn't like he had to take all of them on. He only needed their captain. Instead he just had to, just HAD to provoke every last one of them. Well it wasn't his fault. Niche was the one who got him caught, calling him like that in the middle of the night.
It was supposed to be an easy job. Slip past the the initial guards, which by the way were asleep, get down to the hull eliminate the captain. In the confusion, escape with the captain's prized gun in proof that he fulfilled the task. Easy. Really easy. Heck he didn't have to pull his bow, let alone be hiding in this abandoned harbor.
2:09:36 AM
It never went as planned. Just as he was sneaking on board the pirate ship of the Talon pirates, Niche had called for him. She had been gone all day hunting for herself. The bird was smart but seemed to never understand what the problem was using her call at night. The hawk's call blared so loud that the guards awoke and had seen Xan trying to sneak in. Xan immediately turned back but now the pirates were all over the place looking for him. He could only pray they didn't look for him in here.
2:11:29 AM
Time always passed so slowly for Xan. Maybe it was because ever since eating that damned fruit he always knew what time it was. Knowing the time meant that if you were late you KNEW you were going to be late. And if you were waiting for something to happen, you had to wait out each second. It was like a constant ticking in his head that when he first gained his power, it almost drove him mad. But now? Now it was a relaxing concentration exercise. He could feel the rhythm of time and it gave him a steady pace for him to move at and a beat to follow. It allowed him to think difficult plans and complications within the time it took for another second to pass.
2:11:30 AM
Just like that.
"Give dat 'arbor a look through. Dunno why da baws got us lookin' for one measily amateur. Wut wuz he thinkin', jus walkin' up on our ship?!"
Xan pulled his bow and nocked an arrow. He had suspcted his luck would not hold. He was high up on a few boxes in the corner. It was dark and shadowy but Xan took no chances. The pirate stumbled his way in the dark around a few overturned boxes. Clearly, he could barely see but Xan had been hunting in the dark for much of his life. He was a hunter and he was prey. He was backed into the corner, and had his target right where he wanted. He was aimed to kill should the man suspect anything.
2:12:48 AM
As the man turned up to him, time ceased to move for Xan.
"Gachin Gachin no Raika (Tick Tock Lightning Flash)," he whispered. The arrow in his fingers glowed blue for just a second and then Xan let go. The arrow struck the man's throat silencing the painful scream that would have came if he had hit anywhere else. Time sped up once more for Xan as he let go of a breath of air.
2:12:50 AM
He groaned inwardly. Now it was only a matter of time before they go hunting for this man. Alexander needed to move.

Tetzou was wandering along through the fields of the nearby furrows, sighing as he moved along hands in his pockets as he closed an eye slowly. He was headed toward the harbor but it had turned night, his Marine coat flickered and whipped around him slowly the insignia of Justice going down its center. Today he wore a pair of ragtag cargo shorts with torn up edges. On his shirt he wore a open-chested camouflage shirt with a bright orange belt, his ensign badge on its edge as per usual as he blinked and tilted his head. He watched as suddenly some random pirate bumped into him, “OI! I FOUND HIM!!” Tetzou blinked slowly, “Found me …?” He looked at him in confusion, but then the pirate raised his cutlass obviously intending to strike him down and he sighed … raising his hand he backhanded the man sending him flying into the dark sea with a gurgle and a splash, and continued on his way with a grunt. Slowly Tetzou entered the dark docking area that appeared abandoned when he heard the familiar thump and gurgle of someone taking a (Arrow to the Knee!) attack to their throat that was a death shot.
He sighed a moment considering this patiently, before finally he turned and headed tword the the sound and decided he had better investigate despite how much of a damn annoyance it was to bother with, these were nameless pirates after all, he was here for the 30.000.000 Bounty “Blackhorn Zamboi” that resided here apparently. He grunted a bit before he eyed the image of what appeared to be a slim young man about to jump from the boxes, Tetzou could have been stealthy, could have given the man warning, could have done a lot of stuff. But instead he just raised his hand up and called in a deep and surprisingly loud (Though not a scream) of a voice. “Yo! … You a Pirate or Someone else? Cuss if you’re a pirate I gatta kill you.” He said with a bored and lazy expression one eye closed as the man scratched at the gotee at the tip of his chin frowning a bit, he didn’t want to go and star killing small fry, that was, after all simply not for him, however he could if required as he passed through take down a few of them if only to help out the general populace of the place.
He rolled his shoulders, preparing to see if he needed to do anything and glancing at the arrow in the man’s throat and blinked. “A Marksman huh~ Not many people use a bow. Im impressed already.” He chuckled a bit, obviously he wasn’t mocking the man, it could be seen from his tone, but he was being a bit on the teasing side as indeed it was rare to find an archer anymore.

2:12:58 AM
Xan was just about to hop down a few boxes to the ground when a voice called to him. Had the voice said anything else beside, "...are you a pirate..." the stranger might have landed an arrow lodged in between his eyes. But calling Xan was worse than an insult to him. And that combined with the events of the night finally set off his usual cool demeanor. "Pirate? Pirate!" Xan dropped down, grinding his teeth. A loud cry of a hawk interrupted Xan's temper and then the red tailed hawk flew into the building landing on her master's shoulder.
"YOU! You are the cause of all this." The bird simply tilted its head in obvious confusion and then nipped at Xan's ear. "No I don't have time to play." He turned to the strange new person that had called to him earlier and sighed. "I'm no pirate. A Pirate Hunter. Had a bounty and then this selfish idiot here had to wake their entire crew."
2:14:38 AM
Xan waved off the man's compliments. "Any person can wield a cannon or gun. Bows have much more uses like doing..." he walked over to the man he had downed. "This." He grabbed the end of the arrow and pulled on the shaft pulling it cleanly out of the man's neck. He flicked it once, the blood hitting the floor and placed it back in the quiver.
"CHAAARLIE! AMALAAAAR!" a voice boomed out towards the harbor. Xan downed one man... so why were they searching for another. "Unfortunately, I don't have the time to spend here. It's 2:15 AM and in about 6 minutes I will have missed my chance to get that bounty." He growled to himself at his misfortune. He walked over to the entrance to the harbor and looked around the corner. "Dunno who you are, but try not to get yourself killed." He pointed to a building over a few meters down and raised his shoulder. "Niche. Count for me."
The hawk left his side and Xan sighed. "So... well. Who are you? You're no Talon pirate, that's for sure."

Tetzou blinked slowly at the man suddenly going off on him and he tilted his head slowly in confusion. "Personal problems with the birdbrain ...?" He asked with a blink of curiosity as He watched him ynak out the arrow. "I prefer my fist. Since it does that too. If you mean kill things that is." He nodded a bi and stretched with a yawn as he eyed the man curiously, he slowly turned and eyed the sky with a bored expression. "Pirate Hunter huh ... a Bounty Hunter then ..." He eyed the logbook he carried around with him, having all the current Bounties, Threat Bounty Hunters, and Marine Ranks in it and eyed the pages. "Havent made a big name for yourself yet huh, don't see yer face here. Ah well." He shrugged and turned, heading forward he waved a bit at the Bounty Hunter, "Their after you right? ... If you want the captain I'll help yah out and take out their ship and his men so you can take him on." He said it nonchalantly as he slid his hands into his pockets and closed an eye boredly. Along his Marine jacket that hung about his ankles the kanji for 'Justice' was now visible. He scratched at his cheek and sighed a bit, "Oh. I'm a Marine ... Tetzou the Titan." He nodded with a wave.
As he moved forward, he didn't care if the guy accepted his offer or not, he would take out the ship and crew ether way. He headed toward the main ship ... leaping up and landing on a large buildings top he slowly sat down and examined the area, using his Ken Haki to track everything nearby as he scratched his chin curiously. "Twenty crew huh ... shouldn't take to long." He leapt down and landed with a thunk against the earth before he blinked and looked around himself curiously tilting his head as he blurred forward, slamming his fist into the first man from behind the sound of a spine snapping and a body thudding the only thing heard. He sighed, "Such dirty work ..." He muttered, before he spun and rammed his heel into the one next to him who let out a half yell of "MARI-GUWAHAH?!" As the kick collided with the mans throat and sent him through the nearby stone building blasting a hole through it. "... Fuck. Sensei is ganna gripe at me for breaking things." He groaned a bit before he dashed off, speed a blur at around 200 miles an hours at his full out sprint ... the cries of panicking pirates lasting only for about a minute.
As the cries ended ... Tetzou would walk out munching on an apple dragging behind him eighteen unconscious pirates, and two dead bodies that would be left for families to claim if they cared enough about these men. He dumped them all on the ground all bound by the rope to keep them together before he kicked one in the gut hard enough to return him to white out unconscious when he began to stir. "Mmn ... Ship next ..." He murmured, leaping up he watched as he saw the captain standing on the dock tapping hi foot nervously having heard the screams of his men, about to get on the ship, when the marine appeared between him and the ship munching on his apple. "Neh neh ... I wont take you out, thats the bounty hunters job, but I wont let yah' get on the ship ether sorry ..." He said glancing back at the ship, he kicked the air. "Rankaku ..." Suddenly a golden crescent-shaped blade of air rammed into the side of the ship, slicing it strait in half and making both halves slowly sink down into the water as his gaze rested on the captain who stared in shock as Tetzou just kept munching, waiting for the bounty hunter to arrive.

2:16:23 AM
It wasn't the man's uniform nor the proud boast that made Xan believe the marine. It was the marine badge of "justice" that tipped Xan off the man was who he said he was. Just as the man leapt up on the ship Niche returned to his side and began scratching the number of pirates out there. 'Tetzuo the Titan... never heard of him,' Xan thought to himself absently. He sighed peaking around the corner. His jaw dropped.
The Titan just walked up to the crew members. Just. Freaking. Walked. Well he leaped down off a building he was obviously running on top of but after that he jumped down, and then just neatly walked up to the first guy. Xan was about to shout, pulling his bow and nocking an arrow when he watched Tetzuo crack the man's spine with his fist. The man simply crumpled to the ground obviously dead, or going to be. The sound of that guy's spine breaking was shattering to Xan. 'There... There's just no way someone can be that strong,' Xan thought in pure disbelief. He had heard of stories like this ever since he got to the East Blue. Being a stowaway on a ship passing through Reverse Mountain, he had heard of legendary marines and powerful pirates that defied all logic.
And this went beyond what the stories told. This went far beyond Xan's expectations. He had guessed he might lose a few fights, or even be killed... the marine nonchalantly put a foot to the next pirates throat. The attack cut off the marines immediate call to arms and shot him straight through one of the harbor buildings. That building was made of stone. Xan nearly stumbled to his own knees. It was now hitting him how wrong he had been about all this. Xan was by all rights a monster. He ate the cursed fruit, not only willingly, but knew the ramifications. Devil fruit were dangerous and feared throughout much of the sea. But... but this. This 'Titan' was no monster. He was a horror. The marine began to run towards the Talon pirate's Crow's Beak, their ship. Xan shook in pure terror.
And the fear seem to just crack underneath. No, his own voice called out to him. No he would not be afraid. Not today. Not here. Not now. This was a bounty. This was his job. He was not about to quit just because someone was stronger. When Xan had eaten that Devil Fruit, given to him by his father, he took a vow. It was something that had never been voiced but he always knew. That his father had loved him, not in spite, but because of making his own choice. This was what he was born to do. And he would not turn tail and run from it. He stood straight and placed his hand close to Niche. "Follow him. That bounty is mine." She screeched and then she lifted off. Her cry echoed, and Xan was on the move.
2:17:31 AM
He turned one last corner looking up in the sky towards Niche who was now circling. That meant the marine had stopped moving or that Niche found something of interest. She was always good for that, and always praised her with treats, generally soft fruits, that the hawk loved so much. When he looked ahead he stopped and drew his bow. He was, afterall, a marksman. And he recognized the Talon pirate captain from the bounty post. He did not know or care if the captain knew where he was or not. "Gachin Gachin no Raika," he said to himself. The arrow glowed blue for a second and then was a streak of light across the harbor.

Tetzou honestly had no idea that the man was so shocked, he simply leaned down and took the last bite of his apple tossing it into the sea as the arrow flew forward. The captain cursed and stumbled to the side as the arrow sliced him open along his cheek as Tetzou blinked, catching the arrow before it hit him and tucking it in his sleeve to give back to the man later. "Ooooh ... you missed Sniper-San~" He called out boredly as the man's eye twitched and spun searching for the target tat hat attacked him since the Marine didn't seem to be of any threat to him just yet. Slowly Tetzou sidestepped out of the way as the man drew hi blade and wiped the blood from his cheek with a nervous grin. "Hehe ... Im the captain of the Talon Pirate, Hisigo the Longshot! This pistol is as good as any Rifle I wont loose in a long ranged battle!" With that he spun the blade and tugged the expensive looking pistol out aiming it at the area round him carefully.
Tetzou blinked, "Ooooh ... Sniper battle! Arrows vs. Bullets! Guns vs. Bows! Hawk Eye against Whiskey Ey-" The captain spun around and yelled out, "WOULD YOU SHUT UP!?!" Tetzou blinked and shrunk a bit. "My bad my bad ... caught in the moment. You may wanna focus on him though. Just say'n." At this moment he would have blinked and spun eyes widening as he dashed to the side flailing as any attacks flew at his back and front cursing his gun aimed and lowered, three shots riming out as the bullets flew forward with surprisingly keen accuracy. "Baju Barrage!" He called as he slammed in several more bullets into the gun and suddenly shot upward and then forward ... the sounds of metal on metal causing the bullets to rick-rocket across the entire area rapidly like a bunch of death-deriving bouncy balls. Tetzou blinked ... slowly he just murmured, "Takkai ..." As the bullets began to rapidly slam into him and simply bounce off him with clangs as if the bullets made contact with metal not flesh.
The entire time the Pirate began to try and use this net of bouncing bullets to track down his other opponent eyes narrowed carefully and reaching down to grasp his blade tighter gun raised carefully. "I wont loose against some young runt!" He called out angrily.
