The ocean breeze around the bay blew even more intensely than usual, as if echoing a far off event. Though nothing on the island had changed, stories of powerful rookies in East Blue had circulated, and even the strong captains of the Grand Line were chattering about a revolution. The bounty hunters all over the world therefore held their collective breath, as it could mean defeat or even death should the situation suddenly change. But to Wren Emmet, those affairs didn't phase her. Instead, it excited her. A whole new breed of pirate surely had a good price.
Yawning softly, she brushed her bangs out of her face, her slim figure barely a shadow against the deep blue waters around her. She normally hated water, but for some reason the sea called out to her, as if beckoning her to join a crew and leave the island. But what would be the point? She was only young, not very strong, and she didn't know where to start with locating a steady crew. In fact, she was still lonely. No friends anymore, only bounty heads that needed collecting. Sighing once, she practically leapt up to her feet, trailing her steps softly as she headed towards town, and toward the bounty of the day.
Earlier that day, almost at noon, Wren emerged half asleep from the pit that was her room, the maids busy at work cleaning every nook and cranny of the large house once belonging to her family. She yawned and stretched, quickly getting dressed and helping herself to breakfast. She quickly strode out into the street, looking either way as she began to jog toward the hunters guild in the middle of the busy residential district of Loguetown. The names of some very strong bounty hunters were etched in the wooden walls, some made with daggers, others with pens and markers. She admired them a lot. To get that strong would take several decades, perhaps? She shrugged, before pushing the door open. There in front of her were several burly men, dotted around drinking and discussing things in vulgar language. A few looked up at her, bemused by her sudden appearence. Others laughed, muttering that such a young girl should have her head elsewhere. She paid little attention. Being as thin as she was, she was often mistaken for a young girl. Unaffected by the people around her, she made her way to the bounty board. On it were a few names, all of which had very minor bounties. All except the middle poster, a womans.
"Ah, that happens to be 'Wild Haired' Angelise..." one patron spluttered, too drunk to realise that the person he spoke to was either younger than him... or a woman, "Nothing special against the others in the grand line, but a 10 million berry bounty is nothing to scoff at in this sea."
She laughed softly, wondering something about her, "Tell me then, old man.." Wren scowled, eyeing him over, "What did she do to get this bounty?"
He replied slowly, suddenly realising his place in the rest of the world, "She murdered a marine officer, brutally. But a whelp like you? Pfft, why are you even trying to hunt her? Learn your place."
"How about you learn yours!" she hissed, ripping the poster from the board and grabbing the man by his shirt, pinning him agsinst the tavern wall. The bickering and banter cut off instantly, leaving the shocked sound of sobbing and an angry young woman's voice, "You're here drinking away your failures, old man. Trust me when I say I can handle this bitch."
She let go a moment after, a sudden cheer and pounding of feet following her exit from the tavern. She had enough time to smile to herself as she made her way to the coast. Her train of thought about the morning's events, however, was interupted by an unusual woman. She quickly came back to the afternoon, as soon as she recognised the woman she was tailing. Angelise was already here in the town, no doubt ready to sail on into the grand line. Laughing to herself, she began her hunt just as planned....

Tetzou boredly was sitting on the edge of the deck, munching on an apple boredly as he closed an eye and yawned slowly. He swung his legs boredly as he waited for Tala to come out to meet him, his cyan and blue ship was tied down to the deck and he had his legs over the edge. If he fell in he would die in moments and drown, but hell, who lived without a little risk right? Plus it wasn’t like he had gotten much excitement recently. He sighed before he grasped the second apple beside him and tossed it the core of the fruit he ate into the water before resuming his happy munching of his apple. “Neh neh …” he muttered, taking another bite before he glanced back hearing a commotion behind him, some woman was bouncing along the deck cackling as she spun and danced, he stared at her a moment dumbly and then shrugged and looked back at the sea. However as he turned his face furrowed, she had a bounty … he was fairy certain, that meant he needed to bring her in, even if it was a pathetic 10.000.000 bounty … he sighed and stood up, rubbing his neck as his marine jacket that hung about this shoulders became obvious. His gaze found the men that surrounded her and one noticed the jacket yelling out, “MARINE!!” immediately she bolted into the ship obviously intending to flee.
He sighed and watched as the ship began to drift off to the side face rather impassive a moment, before he kicked at the boat, a screaming crescent shaped blade of wind roaring forward and slamming into the side of the ship as he titled his head broadly. “Rankaku …” he said as the ship began to sink and chaos proceeded, as she scrambled out of the water leaping onto the deck panting heavily as her eyes crossed from the sock of nearly going down with the ship as her men floundered around in panic. Slowly he bit into his apple again as he tilted his head curiously examining her, Tetzou was a above average (Though not by Much) man of about five foot eleven, he was built full of lean muscle with broad shoulders, he wore no visible weapons just one hand in the pockets to what appeared to be jeans, with their bottoms tucked into leather black boots at the bottom of his jeans. He didn’t have anything tucked in, except on the side of his chest, which he had tucked in to the wide leather belt to show off the large buckle on the side made of what was likely diamond that held his ensign rank star on it. He blinked again slowly adjusting the jacket for the marines with the kanji for ‘Justice’ Going down its back that he wore draped over his shoulders as did most.
His shirt consisted of nothing but a higher-collared shirt he wore tight against his body, around his neck he wore a slim pair of dog tags with the name “Titan’’ engraved on it. He scratched at his chin a moment as he noticed the stubble growing, tch … he would have to get a shave soon, how annoying. He sighed before he pushed back his long hair and exposed his face fully, his dark grey eyes found the womans and mens, and he slowly tilted his head, tugging out his book and examining it a moment. “… They nicknamed you based on a hairstyle from when I was a kid?” he asked with a dull face, obviously unimpressed, “For killing a Marine and fleeing the scene of the crime … 10.000.000 beli bounty … well, we could use the cash I guess.” He debated silently as the crew stared at him in confusion, after all who the hell acted like this in the middle of a huge battle that was about to commence, he then however glanced up and noticed a young woman (Though she looked more like a girl) coming over the hill and he blinked slowly. “ooooh …?” he tilted his head and leaned back fingers intertwining curiously as he watched her and tucked the book away. “Maybe I don’t have to do it after all …?” he muttered with a blink.

As she approached the crest of the hill, expecting to see her target dead ahead, she saw only a destroyed ship and her target and her crew literally scared stiff. She couldn't see who did the damage for a moment, her breath caught in her throat. She hadn't seen anyone powerful enough to do that in the East Blue since... well, since ever before. It was then, when she saw a man in a marine coat stare straight back up to her when she realised the situation. She suddenly changed her opinion. It wasn't a sea king, it was just a man. But he stole her bounty, and she refused to stand for it. Gulping, she began leaping time and time again down the hill, toward the sinking ship with a scowl on her face from ear to ear. It wasn't long until she got to the smallest space between the harbour and the man, her nerves not holding up due to the expanse of water. She began shouting, intent on exerting what authority she had.
"Oiiiii!" she shouted, crossing her arms and scowling. As he looked at her, she gulped. He was tall and muscular, and rather imposing looking. Though he dressed somewhat normally, his coat was that of a marine. But whether he wanted absolute justice or not was unknown. As they locked gazes, she looked down to her target, who had wild hair just as the bounty posted depicted. Her crew were close by, but weren't exactly doing much. She caught a glimpse of his ensign badge, but that seemed pretty strange. He looked quite a lot older than she realised, "Look, I know you're a marine and all, but that's my bounty! All ten million of it! But before I kick your ass for it, could you.... erm, c-could you get onto dry land with my bounty? I don't want to see you fall in the sea... is all...|".

Tsukai grinned a bit as he watched her yell and come over to him telling about something this being her bounty. He pointer at her with a blink, "Her ...? But she's so weak ... shouldn't you be going after someone worth your time?" He said looking confused and closing an eye lazily. Then something she said actually clicked, "Eh!? Sinking?!" His eyes widened and he looked down, his leg went up in the classic sideways holy shit! Movement. He slowly blinked, calming down. "Oh yeah. I'll die it I touch the water. Huh." He looked down noticing he had about ten feet of wood left. "... Damn." He disappeared, grabbing them as he passed he appeared with a CRACK! In front of the young girl, slowly he blinked his left arm was about the size of a superhuman and a bright golden like steel and gold mixed together glowing a soft light. It held all ten of the men by the scruff of their necks and dumped them on the ground, he held the girl who looked terrified in his normal arm, slowly his arm returned to normal and he dumped the wild shrieked woman on top of the pile. "There go miss." He said bored eying the ship as it sunk into the depths.
He slowly knelt down ... prodding them a few times. "Your welcome to ehr bounty, I like taking out the ones wit a 50.000.000 Beli head at least ... makes it at least a bit worth me and Tala's time." He smiled a bit before he hopped up and yawned loudly blinking slowly. "Tch ... Damn ... where is that woman she said she'd be here." He muttered a bit to himself, then blinked and looked down. Realizing she was still here and tilted his head slowly. "... Your strong for a kid, but your not really strong. Go after single digit bounties alright ...? This isn't an insult to you, this is advice from someone who was in your shoes at one point. Stat small ... work your way up, or you'll die." He grinned and winked at her, "And you got to much guts standing up to me to go and get yerself killed ... hehehe." He slowly stretched, and then checked his logbook thinking a moment. "Hm ... there's a 29.000.000 Bounty Head here on the island ... some bandit lader ... wanna tag along with me? We can split the bounty fifty fifty and you can have this wildhairs chicks bounty all for yourself." He gave her a grin, wondering how she'd react.

Wren shrugged, almost telling him straight that she just barely became a bounty hunter herself. But before she could, it just occured to him he was sinking. She tilted her head, wondering how someone as slow as him managed to even fight an entire crew. She was just afraid of the water is all. Then something clicked. He muttered something about dying if he touched the water. No wonder he managed. He was a devil fruit user. She wondered as to what his powers were, but didn't have to wait long for a demonstration. As the ship sank a lot faster this time, he grabbed the crew with his outstretched hand, now several times bigger and glowing gold. She knew the power immediately, and remembered reading an article about this man. The man with the 'buddah' fruit. She was more impressed than relaxed, watching him effortlessly toss the pirates down in front of her. The wild haired woman was placed on top, who obviously regretted docking in loguetown today...
Suddenly, the man trailed off after saying she could have her bounty. Wren herself wondered who this mystery woman was, but soon returned to mulling over the conversation. What he said about her was true. Sure, against all the normal people she was strong, but compared to him, she was dirt. And this was the first double digit bounty she had even considered, true enough. But his next few words were unexpected. Laughing off being threatened, and even laughing about being able to kill her. Better yet, at least she though, he flattered her. She laughed softly, actually pretty scared of the next step. Luckily, it was an offer. A damn good one, too. A bandit leader, a real bounty, half the money plus the ten million. She grinned softly, the usual scowl washed off her face. What would she say? Obviously, yes.
"A bandit leader... twenty nine mill, you say?" she considered carefully, knowing this could be a good oppertunity, "You know, maybe this could be profitable for both of us. As long as we stay on dry land, I'm going to take your offer. I'll tag along, don't you worry about that!"

Tsukai grinned at her agreement and nodded a bit, slowly he lifted himself up before grasping at the woman's head he lifted her by the hair and blinked. "Still can't believe you managed to kill a marine." He said simply ... before he tossed each of them and her into the air and shifted back. "... Shigan, Sha." He growled and suddenly his arm blurred as fifty punches flew out of nowhere so it looked as if instead he had fifty arms that punched instead of a single one, each bandit gaining five hard hooks to their bodies, each strike sounding like a cannonball hit them as they all collapsed blood rolling from their noses, ears, and eyes eyes totally white unconscious, the woman their leader in the same state. He nodded and proceeded to bind them all up, and toss them onto his boat. "We can store them there until we get the commander of theirs too." He grinned wide and turned heading off tword the distant forest expecting she'd follow.
"Im Tetzou by the way. Marine Ensign ... though you can probably already tell that." He chuckled a bit before his hands slid into his pockets, pulling out a cigarette he stuck it between his lips and lit it as he walked along, smoke rolling from between his lips as he moved along. He blinked as they entered the forest after several moments and he didn't seem to bothered really, "So how long have you been bounty huntin' ...?" He asked out of curiosity, placing his hands back into his pockets at he moved around. Finally he grasped a tree and suddenly moved his face a bit backwards as a bullet shot rang out, a hole forming an inch in front of his face, where his head had been a moment before, in the tree and he blinked. "Woooow ... that was a close one." He said with a blink slowly as he glanced over to the trees where there was a ''tch'' sound and five more bullets shot out, each surprisingly accurate as Tetzou slowly and easily moved and dodged the bullets before they even reached their destination, as one shot tword Wren, he grabbed her by the back of her clothing and tugged, lifting her clear off the ground about five feet into the air so the bullet went zooming beneath her.
There was a hesitant click of two guns reloading, as Tetzou gently set her down and blinked. "Neh neh ..." he chuckled and sighed as he released her and scratched his cheek, a bullet shot forward, slamming into his forehead ... his head went backward a bit as the bullet shattered on impact, pieces flying into the woods as he lowered his head and placed a hand on his forehead. "Owey ... mean." He said with a soft sing song voice, obviously mocking the gunman who fell out the bushes staring at him in shock, "N-No way!!" Tetzou blinked and pointed at him. "Wow! ... where'd you come from?" He asked blinking a moment in fake shock, slowly leaning down as he disappeared and landed behind the man, kicking him firmly in the bottom he sent him flying and slamming into the earth in front of Wren. "There go. Have fun ... hes about your level. I let him keep his guns though, so be careful." He grinned a bit, "Only way you get stronger is experience after all!" he said with a chuckle.
